The VP of Maintenance is about leadership. The Vice President of Maintenance is responsible for bringing together cross-functional teams aligned on common goals and objectives. They are responsible for ensuring individual team members' personal and professional growth and development through supporting, mentoring, coaching, informal and formal training, and consistent individual and team recognition.

The VP of Maintenance is a senior leader within Goldmark and is responsible for leading their team of Regional Maintenance Managers and the broader maintenance teams to achieve consistent high-level financial, operational, and resident satisfaction results for each multifamily residential property within their portfolio.

They lead the development of Goldmark Property Management s overall preventative, vendor management, maintenance supply and service strategies and are responsible for the development of effective strategies within the portfolio. The VP of Maintenance is a key partner in the development and implementation of company initiatives, policies, and processes.

Experience, Education and Licensure

1. Bachelor s degree in facilities management or related subject preferred; or 5-10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. High School Diploma or GED required
3. At least 5 years of residential maintenance experience.
4. Minimum of 7 years supervisory experience in a maintenance/facilities management role.
5. Familiar with federal, state, and jurisdictional laws and regulations concerning multi-family housing, Fair Housing, and team member safety.
6. Certified Property Maintenance Technician (CPMT) preferred, but not required.
7. Additional maintenance and facilities certifications strongly preferred, or the ability to obtain them (such as boilers license, HVAC certification, OSHA certification, etc).
8. Yardi Property Management Software preferred
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite including SharePoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel is preferred.
10. Must have vehicle, valid driver s license, acceptable driving record and meet company insurability requirements.
