Our Client is seeking a Technical Support Representative in Boise, ID.

Earn an hourly rate at this full-time position. Work from one of any of the following work schedules:

  • 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
  • 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
  • 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Job Description:

  • Monitor and troubleshoot telecommunication devices (3G/4G, DSL, Satellite)
  • Verify data integrity across several systems
  • Assist with Quality Assurance testing of new terminal software
  • Generate system reports based on customer, management, or development requests
  • Operate proprietary software applications
  • Monitor system hardware availability
  • Process customer requests such as new installs, removals or change of ownerships
  • Work closely with Field Service Technicians by phone to install or troubleshoot equipment
  • Follow documented checklists and procedures for all daily work assignments
  • Assist Call Center Operators with answering incoming calls from stores that require assistance
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Requirements:

  • High School Degree or Equivalent (GED)
  • 1 year of related experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar field preferred or equivalent combination of training
  • Knowledge of various operating systems experience
  • Knowledge of networking and data communications
  • Ability to troubleshoot utilizing documented procedures
  • Willingness to learn new methodologies and software applications
  • PC and other peripherals troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Seeking candidates able to work a flexible schedule to consist of potential nights and weekend hours
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
