Your responsibilities

SUMMARY: Responsible for all activities to develop and release the system for EPS steering gears in close cooperation with the development departments in our headquarters in Liechtenstein as well with suppliers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Ensure fulfilment of all customer requirements as well as timing, cost and quality targets for the system and mechanical components for the EPS steering gear projects.
Alignment of specifications and requirements with customer
Responsible for the overall technical system of the product; technical release of the product (road release) and release of the system design, considering industry standards and lessons learned
Continuously assesses interdependencies among sub systems and components and finds solutions where conflicts exists
Main interface for EPS system and mechanics topics to the customer, internal development, testing and industrialization departments.
Interface to suppliers in cooperation with purchasing
Manages interfaces of all main components
Requirement analysis and release of specification and drawings
Concept development for acquisition projects
Configuration management of the EPS steering gear system
Change management during development phase
Support continuous product optimization
Train new hires and customers in technical topics

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Technical lead of an international team assigned to his/her projects. No disciplinary supervision.

Your profile

Education and/or Experience:

Masters or bachelor degree in mechanical, electrical, software, or mechatronics engineering
Minimum 3 years experience in steering, or
Minimum 3 years experience in similar role for safety critical components in automotive industry
Excellent technical knowledge about safety critical automotive mechatronic systems

Computer and Technology Skills:

Office applications like MS Office and SAP

Experience in automotive tool chain for mechatronic components is an added plus (e.g. CAD software, DOORS)
