CES4 is seeking a Structural Designer for its residential building projects, including new developments, structural assessment, and structural retrofit. This position will be in charge of structural packaging (calculation document, plans, and details) for both new building and retrofit projects. This position requires the knowledge and expertise about Building Codes and Structural Design Standards and Guidelines, as well as high ability to communicate with clients, and work with deadlines. Structural knowledge and expertise on Wood, Concrete, and Steel Structures as well as Seismic Evaluation and Retrofit of Existing Buildings (ASCE 41) are required for this position. Candidates should have experience working with City plan check process and structural plan review. PE License is preferred.
