SUMMARY
Support Manufacturing Engineering and Production by maintaining, repairing, modifying, and customizing production equipment and facilities to support the needs of the operation as well as engineering projects. This job includes electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting on existing industrial machines, equipment, and general plant facilities, while being able to design, build and deploy additions to electrical, electronic, or mechanical functionality of these machines. Other duties may be assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Experience working on production equipment in an industrial environment.
Excellent electronic troubleshooting skills including PLCs and process controllers.
Familiar with automated systems such as robotic handlers and cleaning lines.
Familiar with designing fixtures and assemblies using engineering software.
Familiar with factory facilities (but not limited to) electrical, plumping and physical site.
Ability to develop and maintain record keeping systems.
Excellent electrical wiring and controls troubleshooting skills.
Experience interacting with vendors for purchase and maintenance of equipment.
Mechanical skills for repair and modification of equipment.
History of close interactions with manufacturing engineering to improve cost, efficiency, and quality of production.
Knowledge of punch press operations.
Knowledge of production facility safety procedures and requirements.
Skilled in use of personal computers and related software applications.
Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma OR GED OR Technical diploma minimum of three years of focus on equipment electrical and electronic controls.
