Role Purpose
Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities for new Sales and Customer Support Products in assigned markets; including but not limited to cement, lime, building materials, gypsum and general minerals processing. Strong focus on the increasing demand for modernization, retrofits, upgrades and solutions for installed base equipment.
Execute sales plans and deployment strategies to expand the customer base; while achieving maximum profitability and revenue growth in line with the company vision and values. Take direct responsibility for the sales process and order closure. Close liaison with the Application Engineering, Estimating, Business Development and Marketing teams.
Responsibilities
Establishes and maintains positive, long-term relationships with customers to maximize repetitive sales
Acts as the customer's representative and ensures accurate project information flow between customer and BEUMER Engineering and Project Management departments
Secure new customers in traditional BEUMER markets for Conveying and Loading Products (CLP) and Filling, Palletizing and Packaging (FPP) opportunities
Assist in designing material handling solutions from a customer perspective for existing and new customers
Support growth and sales for customer support / modernization / retrofit projects outside traditional "New Equipment Sales" markets as appropriate
Key contact for designated industry, customer accounts or territory
Monitor and analyze market trends and customer preference to ensure future growth
Recommend product enhancements or new product development, as required, to advance sales opportunities
Maintain accurate project and contact database via company CRM system
Gathering and analyzing of customer requirements
Demonstrate and present BEUMER Corporation solutions in customer meetings and trade shows
Lead negotiations and represent company interest at sales discussions
Central point of contact for all technical issues/questions related to product portfolio and Customer Support solutions
Attend and initiate conference calls and on-site meetings with customers
Consult with Application Engineering and Estimating on system design and proposal development
Work with application engineering to transition a proposal to an order
