DNV's Civil Engineering team is growing rapidly, and we are looking for you. Our team is comprised of highly skilled civil, structural, and geotechnical engineers, consulting to the world's largest stakeholders for solar, wind, and battery storage energy projects and we need your help. We are seeking a Project Scheduler who is ready to grow and develop while supporting our US and Canadian team. The scheduler in this position will be exposed to the broadest cross-section of wind, solar, and storage projects of any renewables company in the world supporting a wide breath of civil engineering projects by providing Civil, owners and independent engineering consulting services for the renewable industry.

The ideal candidate in this role will enjoy engaging on multiple short scheduling activities in tandem. They will be skilled at balancing multiple tasks, organized, process-oriented, and have an aptitude for digitalization. A candidate demonstrating an ability to work within our existing tools and workflows to maximize efficiency will work well with our friendly, even-keeled, work/life balanced team of engineers.

The position may be Remote out of any of DNV's continental U.S. offices.

This is an Entry Level Position

What You'll Do

  • Create, monitor, review and efficiently distribute project tasks and schedules in accordance with standard of best project practice between Engineering and internal company stakeholders
  • Report information appropriately to allow Engineering disciplines to manage their projects and deliver on time and within budget
  • Perform coordination of cross-functional departments to identify project issues, monitor action items, and work with the project manager to ensure resolution
  • Coordinate - tasks, meeting updates, and deliverables between Engineering disciplines
  • Prepare, implement, and monitor scopes of work for control and integrity of final deliverables
  • Create, structure and/or review Engineering project proposals to go out for bid
  • Work closely with technical experts, project managers and project engineers
  • Timely and cost-effective performance of duties
  • Maintain a professional and courteous manner while interacting with a variety of people in a corporate culture and within diversified situations

Position Qualifications

What is Required

  • High-school diploma or equivalent, plus 2-5 years experience scheduling for workflow activities or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Business or related field in lieu of experience
  • Relevant administrative experience, education or training may be substituted on a year-for-year basis. and Microsoft applications
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Good analytical and planning skills with an eye for detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work quickly and effectively within a team setting under pressure and to provide clear direction when required to do so
  • We conduct pre-employment drug and background screening

What is Preferred

  • Minimum one (1) year computer experience utilizing Windows system
  • Five (5) year experience scheduling for workflow activities or the equivalent experience
  • Experience working with ClickUp scheduling app or comparable application
