Tiello has partnered with a highly successful Commercial General Contractor in San Francisco Bay area on their search for a Project Manager to work on Commercial and Public Works based Construction Projects around the $4M - $85M+ range.

The Construction Project Manager will oversee the construction of the project in the field, providing leadership to field foremen and ensuring successful completion of trade work. The Project Engineer will also work closely with the Project Management team to ensure timely and quality completion of the construction process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Use outstanding interpersonal, communication, and customer relations skills in developing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors
  • Communicate with the project owners and design team
  • Assisting with processing change orders and managing the project's closeout effort.
  • Job planning, job set up, project closeout, obtain permits, review and understand plans and specifications, assemble and issue prime contracts, subcontracts, and change orders, create and update CPM schedule monthly using MS Project, P6, maintain project logs (RFIs Submittals, PCIs) using CMiC to approve all job invoices and prepare monthly owner billings
  • Work on all aspects of Preconstruction and Business Development with the Preconstruction, Business Development, and Marketing teams

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager for a commercial general contractor with experience in commercial and public works related projects.
  • Self Perform and Trades background Highly Preferred.
  • Proficient use of scheduling software (P6) and project management software (CMiC or similar program) is vital
  • Strong work ethic, team player with strong attention to detail, and ability to work independently
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, mathematical, and sound judgment skills
