This is a project leadership position for the Orion module PE team and involves coordinating daily Orion module PE tasks and priorities to ensure delivery and quality targets are met.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Role and responsibilities

Job responsibilities include:

Coordinating daily Orion module PE tasks and priorities including troubleshooting escalations from the floor.
Collaborating with cross functional team to meet quality and delivery targets for the Orion module.
Developing and monitoring labor hour and cycle time reduction roadmaps.
Assessing capital equipment needs to meet move rate requirements.
Developing manufacturing readiness plans (6P) to introduce new products into production.
Driving continuous improvement activities across processes and procedures.
Supporting SPC monitoring and quality improvement initiatives.
Developing and implementing production output plans, processes and procedures.
Supporting and coordinating RCAs for returned modules (FAR/DOAs).
Managing resolution of production AIRs including those requiring cross-functional support.
Generating Orion module status summaries and communicating updates to relevant stakeholders and management.
Education and experience
BS/MS in Mechanical or Optical Engineering Preferred, or equivalent experience.
1-3 years experience in an Engineering environment.
Working knowledge of diverse optical metrology setups: Interferometers, Shack-Hartmann sensor, polarimetry/ellipsometry & Optical alignment.
Working knowledge of geometric optics, wave optics, Gaussian propagation, and aberration theory.
Working knowledge with epoxy application in opto-mechanical designs.
Experience in a production environment with high tech products and complex production process.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
Working knowledge with Optical-Electrical sensors is a plus.
Experience in the field of technical Production Engineering and quality methodology such as statistical process control and FMEA is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire duration of shift.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch.
The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Can work under deadlines.
The environment generally is moderate in temperature with moderate to high noise level.
Must be willing to work a compressed work week schedule - twelve-hour long shift and rotating from three to four days a week.
This must include references to day and night shifts for accommodation purposes.
