The Pattern Shop Repairer will inspect and perform repairs to tooling and fixtures. Perform all tasks with safety and quality in mind and in accordance with established procedures and process instructions. Take necessary action to minimize delay time and maximize production.

What You'll Do:
Exhibit superior safety practices every day always evidenced by outstanding housekeeping.
Extend treatment to all other employees of the Company as individuals with the courtesy and dignity shown to customers.
Exceed customer quality and service expectations through attention to detail.
Exercise maximum care to protect the environment by fostering and supporting responsible operating procedures.
Perform basic repair of patterns, core boxes, and fixtures.
Perform repairs in production areas on equipment being used on production lines as required.
Inspect tooling for wear or damage prior to issue or storage.
Deliver tooling to workstations, as directed, and return to storage or the pattern shop upon completion of the production run.
Learn to work from basic blueprints, sketches, drawing, specifications and/or verbal or written instructions to complete projects under direct supervision.
Learn to select materials and to perform fundamental layout.
Learn to cut, form, fit and assemble parts as required.
Load and unload tooling from delivery vehicles.Inform supervisor on status of assignments and record or enter tooling and repair information into system.
Communicate suggestions and recommend solutions to problems.
What We Need from You:
Over three months, to one year of experience.
Requires the use of shop math, detailed drawings, formulas, and precision measuring instruments.
Some judgment to comply with instructions, follow methods, and make minor decisions.
