Shift: Mon. to Fri. 8am to 5pm
Pay rate: $18.00

Role Summary:
To operate paint equipment, paint product per operating procedures and instructions. This position regularly requires work near moving mechanical parts. It occasionally requires exposure to fumes or airborne particles and vibration. Typical noise levels are loud. Vision requirements for this position are close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Responsibilities:

• Perform all part finishing activities including sandblast, parts finishing, powder paint, and wet spray. Maintain ovens, airless systems, sandblasters, chemical tanks, and painting equipment.
• Basic understanding of the offshore painting process.
• Understanding of the paint preparation including masking, anodize, and phosphate process.
• Meet production requirements (daily/monthly/etc.).
• Understand and operate equipment properly and safely.
• Participate in CIP activities as asked/needed and comply with all policies and procedures.
• Understand and apply SPP and QA requirements.

Requirements

• Must have a high attention to detail and work with a sense of urgency each day.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small group, customers, clients, and employees of the organization.
• Ability to read blueprints, and instructions.
• Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
