Head Butcher - Woodlake Market, Destination Kohler

Location: Kohler, WI

Opportunity

Provide supporting leadership to the Meat & Seafood team. Lead Butcher activities through performing and training skilled cuts and proper food handling.

Specific Responsibilities

+ Lead and perform all related Butcher activities: cut meat, wrap products, display products, take care of cleanup, assist customers, and receiving of product.

+ Place product orders from approved vendors.

+ Price and track product.

+ Perform monthly inventory.

+ Conduct training: inform staff of standards and proper customer relations and demonstrate proper cutting procedures.

Skills/Requirements

+ High school diploma or equivalency required.

+ Certificate of Sanitation Training - Wisconsin Department of Health required.

+ 3 years' experience in field required.

+ Must be 18 years of age.

+ Strong communication, time management, and attention to detail needed.

+ The ability to walk and stand for the majority of each shift and to lift up to 50 pounds.
