Your responsibilities

FEM & simulation engineer with orientation vibration and acoustics

Create and maintain FEA models for NVH for internal use
Interface internally on simulation results and change request
Application of specific calculations- and simulation-tools (MatLab, ANSYS, Hypermesh)
Carrying out structural analysis using standard FE analysis tool, performing hand calculations and providing engineering conclusions based on the analysis data
Ensure design robustness through 3D modeling, stress analysis, interface verification and 2D tolerance stack up study, provide design solution for robustness improvement
Correlate simulation based on Hardware NVH measurements
Continuous product improvement as well as supply and troubleshooting during the development- and serial-production-process
Determine root cause of a product failure
Generate reports and appropriate documentation
Your profile

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelors Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, with focus on vibration and acoustics.
2 to 3 years of automotive system analysis.
Extremely high technical comprehension and enthusiasm for advanced technical solutions.
Experience in numerical calculations and software application required, specific skills in Hypermesh and ANSYS APDL desired. Experience in Nastran a plus.
Distinctive theoretical and analytical competence.
Experience in manufacturing processes such as stamping and casting technologies a plus.
Knowledge in different material modeling and working with nonlinear problems.
Hardware testing knowledge is a plus.
