PRIMARY FUNCTION: Incumbent works under the direction of the Garage Supervisor or designee, performing a variety of skilled mechanical repairs and maintenance on automobiles, light trucks and equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent required. Two (2) years of automotive or light truck maintenance and repair experience required. Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification preferred. Must supply and maintain own tools . Tools must be organized and stored in a mobile, free standing tool chest. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license at the time of hire and throughout the course of employment. Approved training/education in automotive repair and service may be substituted for work experience requirement on a year for year basis. A minimum tool list is available upon request.
