Job Description

Maintain positive, strong relationships with customers and suppliers (Airline carriers, trucking companies, shipping lines and others involved)

Ability to read client specific operating procedures and successfully execute upon them

Understand the department process flow to ensure smooth, accurate and timely freight process flow

Data entry using Expeditors proprietary programs and systems

Create accurate and timely documents for shipping purposes (Import/Export/Customs)

Document scanning

Meet compliance at all times by following internal and external regulations that are in accordance with government regulations

Track and Trace customer shipments as needed

Ensure accurate and timely client billing

Assist in resolving accounting issues

Continually look for best practices and ways to improve operational efficiency and productivity

Other departmental duties as needed
