Prefabricated building system manufacturer that specializes in electrical substation control buildings and communication shelters is seeking an experienced Electrician can immediately contribute to increasing Production and Efficiency while maintaining quality within our Plant.

General Job Description:

● Ability to bend conduit and do so aesthetically when conduit is exposed (which is often)
● Ability to repair/replace wiring, fixtures and other electrical components
● Communicate with Supervisors and Managers on Timelines of Production
● Effectively interpreting blueprints/ technical drawings
● Ensuring Production Deadlines while Maintaining quality
● Follow Guidelines to Maintain a Safe & Clean Working Environment
● Following regulations for building codes based on NEC guidelines
● Performing electrical work duties safely (as described in NFPA-70 E guidelines)
● Proficiently installing wiring, fixtures and other electrical components in newly constructed pre-cast modular buildings


● Ability to Pass a Drug Screen and Background Check
● High School Diploma & Valid Driver's License
● Ability to perform job specific physical requirements under the specified working conditions including but not limited to:
◦ Willing to Work on Knees, Willing to Work Outside when Necessary, and Can lift 50 lbs
● Must Have Minimum of 3 Years Electrical Experience
● Knowledge of Safe Work Practices and Proper PPE Requirements
● Journeyman Certification Preferred
● MUST be willing to work doing tasks outside of this description as needed, including housekeeping duties in work area
● Reliable and Timely Transportation
● Self-Sufficient and Self-Motivated
● Willingness to be trained to perform job in manner consistent with the unique job of the electrical department at Modular Connections, LLC to fit the unique needs of the products we make and Customers we serve
● Willingness to Work Overtime as Needed, Including Weekends
● Working Knowledge of Construction Math, Blueprint and Technical drawing interpretation, and hand/power tool use - including use of conduit bender.
● Able to Travel to Job Site Locations for Installs and Troubleshooting

Job Requirements:

  • Pulling electrical wiring through conduit
  • Pulling electrical wiring through electrical conduit
  • Perform electrical and non electrical repairs
  • Troubleshooting electrical components, wiring diagrams
  • Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Install electrical wiring, equipment and controls
  • Replace electrical motors and controls
  • Perform electrical installation on new equipment
  • Load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment
  • Removing and installing electrical panels
  • Test electrical components of systems
  • Maintain and repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures
  • Maintain all maintenance workshop electrical equipment
  • Install electrical wiring and assemble components according to blueprints and electrical diagrams
  • Utilize knowledge of electrical wiring standards
  • Modify electrical systems and components
  • Isolate and repair electrical problems
  • Perform electrical preventive maintenance on all equipment
  • Repair various electrical equipment including preventive maintenance and maintenance of electrical equipment
  • Connect wiring to fixtures and power equipment
