Your responsibilities

SUMMARY: Creation of test protocols to achieve the customer specifications. Verification of claimed systems according to the original functionality, localization of its failure. Root cause identification and definition of corrective actions. Automatization of Failure Determination. Documentation of the analysis results.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Technical analysis, software analysis and hardware analysis
Coordination of standard test and test under load together with Warranty Appraisal Specialist and Warranty E/E Technician
Active support of Warranty Claim Coordinator to achieve the specified goals from the customer
Create analysis report (fill out results) and case studies (work instructions)
Integrate analysis results / lessons learned into future standard and load tests protocols
Coordinate third party lab tests (e.g. x-ray, CT, cross section) and integrate into general analysis process
Technical support of the Warranty appraisal Specialist, Supplier Quality Engineer and E/E Technician
Definition of SW and HW verification tests and their execution during the warranty analysis
Definition of SW and HW measurements, their performance and documentation
Support of development department for definition and performance of destructive tests for root cause identification
Measurement and error analysis, also in external locations
Technical support to production plants to improve analysis capability
Definition of test cases for tests with suppliers and execute joint analysis with supplier
Forward all relevant information to the Warranty Claim Coordinator which will communicate to the customer (Analysis Engineer will participate at the customer meetings)
Other tasks stipulated in the individual goal setting agreement in line with the quality strategy of the company
Willingness to travel
Knowledge of test equipment
Experience in SW and HW validation
Knowledge of electrical circuit modelling
Advanced SW and HW knowledge
Your profile

Education and/or Experience:

BS Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical Engineering. Advanced Engineering Degree a plus. Experience in manufacturing processes such as assembly and machining technologies preferably in mass production, process and tooling design knowledge.
