About the Job
We currently have an exciting opportunity for Data Engineering Architect - someone who works well in fast-paced setting. In this position, you will ensure a high level of data quality across the enterprise through the creation and data management processes. You will be responsible for establishing metadata, standardizing data naming, establishing consistent data definitions, associated business.
What You'll Do | Key Accountabilities

  • You will be responsible for establishing high level of data quality across the enterprise, standardizing data naming, establishing consistent data definitions, associated business rules and monitoring overall data quality. Maintain the master configuration data, review any customizations, and ensures completion of use cases by the team.
  • Lead the architectural design, development, deployment, and technical quality of large enterprise solutions that span multiple technologies and disciplines.
  • Coordinate with business areas in the development, documentation, and maintenance of all data definitions for data warehouse, business intelligence tools, and clinical integration and quality reporting
  • Ensure & Guide teams on Data Governance, Data Quality & lineage programs to align with the TB corporate goals.
  • Identify causes of poor data quality, implement solutions, and communicate findings to peers, management, and stakeholders.
  • Expertise - Collaborate with AWS field sales, pre-sales, training, and support teams to help partners use of AWS services such as Athena, Glue, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB NoSQL, Relational Database Service (RDS), EC2, ELB etc.
  • Work with AWS engineering and develops teams to convey partner and team needs and provide feedback to technology roadmaps. Share real world implementations and recommend new capabilities that would simplify adoption and drive greater value from use of AWS cloud services or Google services.
  • Innovate - Engaging with the business and technology stakeholders to create a compelling vision of a data-driven enterprise project with good understanding of systems in an enterprise landscape.
  • Prepare and participate in deep dive technical evaluation meetings, investigating processes to understand data and communications flows, build prototypes/proof of concepts during the design and build phases of the project to decide potential solutions.
  • Be the senior subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures associated with Enterprise data acquisition and business intelligence plans and mentor the team as appropriate.
  • Design and build alerts and monitors for system health, performance, and analytics to ensure high quality of customer experience.
  • Design and architect enterprise BI systems from conceptual to physical implementation and operations like MicroStrategy tableau etc.
  • Work with the Development team to establish best patterns, practices, and standards as new technology arises.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or relevant experience.
  • 8+ years of IT and business/industry work experience
  • Excellent knowledge & skills in data analysis, data modeling, data profiling, data management of structured and unstructured data.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of established/emerging data management technologies including and not limited to Spark, Databricks, Parquet and Delta Lake.
  • Have a solid understanding of Architecture, Design and lead teams in the implementation of the solution according to the design/architecture.
  • Proficient skills in database design from conceptualization to database optimization.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of established/emerging data management technologies including and not limited to Spark, Databricks, Parquet and Delta Lake.
  • Experience in project and solution estimation, knowledge and execution of Agile/Scrum is required and execution of SDLC is required.
  • Fluent and current on architecture trends with an eye on market/technical conditions and future direction and utilizing cloud architecture best practice
  • Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural standpoint and Proficient in presenting technical documents.
  • Understanding of Retail business and challenges across selling channels, Inventory and Fulfillment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
  • Experience in implementing cloud-based enterprise solution
  • Strong leadership skills with excellent communication and partnering skills
  • Highly self-motivated and directed with strong customer-service orientation
  • Ability to prioritize, execute tasks, and deliver results on time

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
