The Shopventory Customer Success department is focused on helping empower our customers to grow a healthy and successful business with cutting-edge technology.

As a Shopventory Customer Success Specialist, your responsibilities will include engaging with our customers proactively, using a consultative approach to help them maximize their usage of Shopventory, resolving billing issues, training, and assisting customers looking to expand their business with us.

The Ideal Candidate:

You put the customer experience above all else. Systems and procedures are great, but it s all for naught if we re making our customers unhappy during the process. Do what s right by the customer.

You re obsessed with the goals of our customers. Understanding their unique high-level business objectives will guide to the right software-based solution.

You're a people pleaser. Finding what makes someone tick and crafting the experience to maximize their satisfaction is something you love.

You re not afraid to jump on the phone. Don t worry, our customers love talking to us.

You re prepared to talk to the occasional angry customer. While our customers do indeed love us, we re not perfect and need to own up to potential mistakes.

You re comfortable making decisions on the fly. Personal resourcefulness will be key in this role.

You have superior oral and written communication skills. You will spend most of your time on the phone and emailing. The ability to deliver ideas in a compelling but concise way is necessary.

You like knowing the small details with how things work. You ll need to have a deep understanding of our software platform in order to help our customers fully implement the platform.

You can interpret the language of others to understand what they truly mean. You're a good listener. You can read between the lines to know the appropriate response to give.

You enjoy working in a small team environment.

You question the status quo. The Shopventory team isn't like most other companies. You're expected to speak up, disagree, and challenge the way things are done whether it's to your direct manager or the CEO. A good idea is a good idea, and a bad idea is a bad idea, no matter who it came from.

1+ years in a Customer Success, Support, or Sales role.

Bonus points for:
