OC Construction Services is seeking Renovation Workers, Maintenance, GC Laborers & Installers

This is the opportunity to be a part of a successful team that provides Capital Construction Project Services to National Corporations.

We are looking for the following crew members to join our team for Multifamily Apartment Renovations:

Renovation workers, Handyman & Maintenance: Have General knowledge of multifamily apartment renovations, working knowledge of general construction processes and methods including power tools, equipment and of various construction materials; general carpentry, painting, tape and texture, wall and baseboard preparation and sheetrock patching. Working knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods including general plumbing processes and methods and basic electrical. Laborers: Have working knowledge of general construction processes and methods including power tools, equipment and of various construction materials as well as general carpentry.

Installers: Have working knowledge of measuring and installing cabinet doors, baseboard, various flooring, and appliances.

Flooring Installers: General knowledge of multifamily dwellings that uses the following types of floor coverings: carpet, vinyl, LVP Glue down, and LVP Click. Working knowledge of how to install carpet with the ability to hide all seams. Working knowledge of how to install all vinyls and do all flooring prep.

Painters: Responsible for paint projects and timelines, for mixing paints, matching colors, preparing surfaces, and applying paint to these surfaces. A Lead painter to manage a team of painters.

Position Requirements

General knowledge of Multifamily Apartment Renovations

Ability to walk over rough, uneven, or slippery surfaces, to climb stairs or ladders to heights more than 8-9 feetAbility to work in a variety of physical positions which include, but are not limited to, sitting, standing, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and walking, requires mobility and flexibility to work in confined spaces, ability to lift, carry or otherwise move or position objects weighing up to 50 pounds and assist others with objects weighing more

Willingness to learn and adapt to our companies policies, procedures, and techniques Must be reliable, dependable, dedicated, hard worker, independent self-starter, and motivator; work well on a team and individually with the ability to lead and teach others; must have a great attitude, strong work ethics, and good customer service skills and basic common sense

Must possess time management, scheduling, and organizational skills; strong attention to details and the ability to juggle multiple tasks, projects and changing priorities; has excellent follow-through and appreciated when you do not cut corners

Possess a valid drivers license, car insurance & reliable transportation, (truck is preferred/needed)

Provide personal tools of the trade

Piece work is paid a fixed price for each unit produced, or action performed, or job regardless of time. Individual efficiency and speed can be a factor in determining whether an individual makes some money or a LOT of money! It is clearly an individual choice!

Some positions have an hourly wage from $25 - $30 per hour depending on experience

Compensation will be discussed at the interview as some positions have various pay scales for different jobs
