We're looking for an intake specialist. What does an intake specialist do?

First and foremost, you're talking to prospective clients who are calling you during the worst time of their lives. You'll need to be empathetic to individuals charged with very serious offenses. Your ability to genuinely connect with them, ascertain their ability to hire, and navigate them through the process will be critical.

You ll need to be tech-savvy, positive, and enjoy talking to people all day.

We are not your average law firm. We are a tight-knit group and we all watch out for one another. We work hard and have fun. We re very focused on maintaining the great and supportive work environment we have. We re looking for a true team player. This is also a great position for someone who is taking time between college and law school.

You ll also need the ability to multi-task, between administrative functions, answering the phones, and taking care of clients who are in the office, all within an often high-pressure environment.

We re looking for someone who is passionate about working in the legal industry and a self-starter. Pay is commensurate with experience.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or proven experience in client relations

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficient computer skills

Friendly and welcoming personality

Problem-solving aptitude

Excellent telephone etiquette

Excellent customer/client service skills

Ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Ability to take on tasks and responsibilities outside the job description

Exhibit a self-starter mentality than can identify gaps in workflow and come up with creative solutions

Ability to embody our brand and company culture

Marketing experience is a plus

Court or legal experience is a plus

Requirements

Daily Job Duties:

Answer a high volume of incoming calls to the firm, maintaining excellent customer service at all times.

Promptly respond to client questions and messages by phone, email or through our case management platform.

Contact clients about court settings, payments, case progression, and reviews.

Maintain and update documents related to client accounts.

Coordinate calls, meetings and communications between attorneys and clients and potential clients.

Follow-up on all overnight or missed calls intercepted by the answering service in a timely manner.

Promptly follow-up with potential clients.

Maintain attorneys schedules and calendars.

Draft and e-file letters and motions on behalf of attorneys.

Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and patiently guide them through a difficult process.

Cultivate and maintain relationships with court staff.

Ensure that our office and common areas are clean and presentable at all times.

Positively represent our brand and firm/

Assist marketing team in developing marketing materials and proposals
