JOB OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking a Bilingual Case Coordinator to join our Assante Estate and Insurance Services team. In this role, the successful candidate is expected to support and provide superior insurance administration service and support to Assante s network of Financial Advisors across Canada. The Case Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of new business processing as well as in-force policy service.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Handle all inbound calls and provide excellent client service in both French and English
Make certain that all in-coming new business applications and supporting documentation are in good order
Ensure the completeness and accuracy of all in-coming policy service forms
Order and follow-up on all medical and financial underwriting requirements, as well as Attending Physician Reports
Monitor all work flows to ensure timely and error free completion of all in-coming policy contracts and service requests
Update system regularly and accurately of any and all changes made to existing policies
Provide weekly volumes and service standards measurements to Manager Operations
Answer inquiries from Advisors / Assistants as to forms, procedures and industry standards relating to insurance policy administration
Investigate and resolve client issues
Partner with the other Operations teams, Financial Advisors and Sales Assistants to build, reinforce and maintain the existing business and relationships
Report client feedback to alert management of developing trends, and / or recurring issues

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Minimum of grade 12 education and or post-secondary education
1 to 3 years of insurance related experience
Bilingual in English and French, both written and verbal
A working knowledge of the different types of life, living benefit and insurance investment products
A solid understanding of underwriting terminologies is a must
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Ability to work under pressure, within stated deadlines,
Superior organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision/direction and to initiate and problem solve
Dedication to maintaining confidentiality
