Responsibilities - Business Manager / Controller:

Responsible for all aspects of the dealership s Accounting Office
Manage and training the staff in the accounting office in true Leadership fashion
Work with the General Manager and other department managers to recognize opportunities to improve or create processes for the good of the dealership
Manage daily cash in bank and contracts in transit
Manage daily floorplan activity
Responsible for reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
Responsible for cleaning schedules and expense account review
Responsible for timely and accurate preparation of the month end Financial Statement
Responsible for timely and accurate 4 day closing of books (closeout), on a monthly basis
Perform monthly audits as requested by Corporate Office
Preparation of reports for Corporate Office
Other miscellaneous duties/projects that arise during the month or for closeout

Requirements - Business Manager / Controller:

Automotive/Dealership Accounting experience is required
Management experience is required
CDK experience is a plus!
Must be able to work in a high stress environment
Seeking applicants in the following areas: Laredo / Webb, Dimmit, La Salle, McMullen, Duval, Jim Hogg, Zapata, Starr, and Hidalgo
Must understand debits/credits and possess basic math skills
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
Ability to be organized, prioritize work, and meet deadlines
A go getter that will take charge and able to manage their workload
A positive attitude and a professional appearance
Must work well with others and have good verbal and written communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver license
