RealStreet currently has a great opportunity for an Architect. This individual will support our client, a growing design firm in Denver, Colorado. Job Responsibilities

The Architect position is based in Denver, CO and will be responsible for managing each phase and piece of design projects.

Additional responsibilities of the Architect include:

  • Provides leadership of the local business development effort
  • Provides accurate timely communications to clients to include proposals, contracts and responses to RFIs
  • Maintains involvement in industry associations which relate to the local office's targeted business market segments
  • Performs design activities related to projects
  • Coordinates architectural, civil engineering, landscape architectural and planning services on projects
  • Advises construction teams and makes recommendations on:
    • Change orders
    • Design intent
    • Contractual matters
  • Participates in post-occupancy evaluation as a member of an interdisciplinary review team.
  • Coordinates with other engineering offices on projects and with interior design groups regarding:
    • Space planning
    • Review of drawings
    • Specifications for life safety
    • Adherence with applicable building codes
    • Resolves conflicts
  • Acts as an advisor to commissioned architects and as technical coordinator of projects :
    • Reviews designs for program conformity
    • Reviews for technical sufficiency
    • Guides designs to acceptable solutions
    • Recommends approval or modifications.
  • Leads the development, technical coordination, and execution of multi-year plans for Design/Construction projects
  • Serves as a resource in the evaluation/selection of sites
  • Makes technical recommendations regarding suitability for use
  • Prepares design studies indicating how sites may be utilized and guides site selection teams in identifying sites

Job Requirements:

Job Requirements

Specific qualifications for the Architect role include:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Architecture
  • Professional Licensure in design field (AIA)
  • 10 years minimum professional Architectural experience
  • Proficient with AutoCAD 2020 or more recent, Microsoft Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite
